What Balance Patch 1 confirms
The Balance Patch 1 notes contain only a general line for miscellaneous crash fixes, bug fixes, and performance updates. Neither the official post nor the independent breakdown provides an issue-by-issue mapping for this patch.

Earlier PC hotfix context
PC Hotfix 1.0 was posted on August 17 to address several crashes and other launch issues, but its post also omitted an itemized list. Hotfix 2.0 followed on August 18 with miscellaneous crash, stability, and performance improvements.
Hotfix 2.0 specifically says the Slayer Seal beacon-menu interface lock was fixed and weapons taken during ripostes are returned correctly. Those two fixes belong to Hotfix 2.0 and should not be silently relabeled as Balance Patch 1 fixes.

What remains unknown
Community reports remained mixed after the early updates, including continued crash reports. The evidence therefore does not support a promise that updating fixes every crash, and it does not identify a complete fixed-issue list for Balance Patch 1.

Troubleshooting record to prepare
Before reporting a continuing issue, record your platform, installed version, crash location, action immediately before the crash, whether it repeats, and any error message. Update the game and retry once under the same conditions, but keep your claim narrow: a single successful retry does not prove the underlying problem is permanently solved.
This checklist improves the usefulness of a report; it is not a claim that these steps repair the game. Avoid applying PC hotfix conclusions to PS5 or Xbox unless the platform build is explicitly mapped.

How to classify your issue before reporting
First decide whether you are reporting a crash, a performance slowdown, or a repeatable interface or gameplay bug. Then match the symptom to the update that actually names it. The Slayer Seal interface lock and riposte weapon return are named under PC Hotfix 2.0; the Balance Patch 1 technical line is too broad to prove that either fix belongs to that later patch.
If no official note names your symptom, report it as continuing on your recorded version rather than 'fixed but broken again.' Mixed community outcomes show why version and reproduction steps matter, but they do not establish one universal cause or repair.
