August 17-18: PC launch hotfixes

Cold Symmetry posted PC Hotfix 1.0 on August 17 to address several crashes and other launch issues. PC Hotfix 2.0 followed on August 18 with miscellaneous crash, stability, and performance improvements, a Slayer Seal interface-lock fix, and a fix for weapons not being returned after ripostes.

August 20: PS5 1.000.006 and Balance Patch 1 on PC

PS5 update 1.000.006 was announced on August 20 with stability and crash work, input-setting and beta-save fixes, and named crash fixes involving the Cultist Robe and Slayer Seal. It also listed the riposte weapon-return fix.

Balance Patch 1 was posted the same day and was live on PC when announced. Its main focus was economy and combat balance, with a general line for technical fixes.

August 22: reported PS5 Balance Patch rollout

PS5 players reported receiving Balance Patch 1 and version 1.000.007 on August 22. When this timeline was checked, the original official Balance Patch post had not been updated to confirm that later PS5 rollout, so the entry remains explicitly player-reported.

No equivalent evidence in the source pack confirms Balance Patch 1 on Xbox Series. PS5 and Xbox status are therefore kept separate.

How to use this timeline

Match a fix to both its platform and update name before assuming it applies to your build. For example, a named Hotfix 2.0 PC fix should not be automatically attributed to Balance Patch 1, and a PS5 player report should not be extended to Xbox.

Because the developer posts are split across Steam and Reddit, treat this as a dated working history rather than a permanent centralized changelog. Recheck official channels before publication or after a new update.
